Entrepreneurship Development Programme:-

Entrepreneurship Development Programme is conducted to develop self employment for educated unemployed youth of Punjab & (UT) Chandigarh. Duration of the programme is two weeks and intake capacity 20-25 participants. Rs. 100 is charged as fee from the participants of general male category, Rs. 50 form general women category & PH and no fee from SC,ST participants.

The main objective of Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDPs) is to motivate the candidates to take up their own enterprises/ventures for livelihood & create employment opportunities for others also. During the programme techo-econ & managerial input  like Entrepreneur as a career, Quality of Entrepreneur, Product Selection, Risk Taking Capacity/Behavior, Project Report Preparation, Marketing Ideas converting into business, EMT, Book Keeping & Accountancy, Personal Management and labor law etc. are provided to the participants by officers/ experts of MSME Development Institute, Ludhiana. The officers from various concerned State/Central Govt. depts., like DIC, KVIC/KVIB, NSIC & Banks etc. also invited during the programme to provide information of their departments for development of MSEs.
